I am Katie McGahey, BA (Hons) PQE, BIPP a Devon based photographer for over 20 years..
I have always been interested in the art of photography and pursued this passion right through to my qualifications from Plymouth College of Art and Design (PCAD).
Prior to finding my niche with portraiture I had a wealth of photography experience from working in Africa and America as part of my travels to being involved with TV editing for ITV, working for the police in scenes of crime photography unit and working with local media.
These experiences lead me to realise that I wanted to be interacting with people and using my energy to capture the individuals true character. After working for certain prestigious studios I decided to set up my own business in 2006.
